Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains manual and numerically controlled OD and ID grinding machines
Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints to ensure accurate production
Takes precise measurements using micrometers, snap gages, gage blocks, indicators, dial bore gages, etc. Typical tolerances to be held are .001", but tolerances of .0005" to .0002" are not uncommon.
Selects appropriate machine, equipment, and settings for a given task
Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the job
Monitors production, adjusting machine settings as necessary
Maintains inventory of completed products
Maintains a safe and clean workstation
Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
Inspect customer orders incoming and outgoing
Qualifications:
Mechanical Experience.
Machining experience
Proficient in math
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
