Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure the proper functioning of water systems, adherence to local building codes, and high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including broken fixtures, leaks, clogs, and system failures using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras
- Install, maintain, and upgrade plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and safety standards
- Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to ensure optimal flow and prevent future blockages
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites
- Conduct plumbing system inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures, piping, and related components as needed
- Estimating plumbing jobs for replacement of water heaters, bathroom/kitchen upgrades or remodeling.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial environments
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols, local building codes, and plumbing regulations
- Experience with welding, pipe threading, pex, copper, pvc water systems, tank and tankless water heaters and plumbing inspection cameras is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and mechanical devices efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and schematics for plumbing layouts
- Valid driver’s license with no loss of license in the last three years and a fairly clean driving record with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues
