Key Responsibilities for the Senior Project Accountant:
- Lead financial reporting and accounting for large, complex construction projects
- Prepare and manage monthly billing packages, including GMP/T&M applications
- Track accounts receivable, cash flow forecasts, and ensure timely collections
- Coordinate subcontractor/vendor payments and manage lien waiver processes
- Partner with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and contract compliance
- Support process improvements and system enhancements within finance
Qualifications for the Senior Project Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience (construction or project-based industry preferred)
