We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments across diverse specialties such as dermatology.
- Take and record vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing, perform phlebotomy procedures, and manage sample documentation efficiently.
- Maintain health records documenting patient information, medical histories, medication lists and diagnosis.
- Support medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and managing medical records.
- Assist with medication administration under physician supervision and ensure proper handling of pharmaceuticals according to protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy .
- Proven experience in medical office management and administrative support within fast-paced healthcare settings.
- Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS).
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient populations.
- Experience working in dermatology environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in both clinical and administrative duties.
- Knowledge of inpatient procedures or OR experience is advantageous for supporting complex cases or surgical settings.
