Duties
- Conduct oil changes, fluid replacements, and routine vehicle maintenance, and vehicle inspections to keep cars running at peak performance
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs
- Perform minor mechanical repairs such as brake servicing, tire rotations, and suspension checks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and safety in mind
- Service tires by mounting, balancing, repairing punctures, and performing tire rotations to ensure optimal traction and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and mechanical operations
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive service experience with a strong background in vehicle diagnostics and repairs. European vehicle knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on mechanic experience working with standard passenger cars & SUV's
- Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures including oil changes, coolant flushes, brake fluid exchanges, transmission service, etc.
- Knowledge of automotive systems such as brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair machinery
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service within a fast-paced automotive environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during minor mechanical repairs
