Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Marketing & Sales Representative to help grow our construction and garage door business. This person will be responsible for promoting our services, building relationships with potential customers, generating new leads, and helping increase sales for residential and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and confident talking with people. They should be able to promote the company in a positive way, create trust with customers, and help bring in consistent new business for both garage door services and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
- Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, community outreach, and jobsite visits
- Promote garage door installation, repair, replacement, service, and construction-related services
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business
- Identify opportunities with homeowners, builders, contractors, property managers, realtors, and commercial businesses
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Represent the company at local events, trade shows, builder meetings, and networking groups
- Help create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, business cards, and promotional offers
- Assist with social media content ideas, customer photos, before-and-after projects, and local promotions
- Build brand awareness in the local market
Customer Relationship Management
- Provide friendly, professional communication with customers and business contacts
- Answer basic questions about services, pricing process, scheduling, and company offerings
- Communicate customer needs clearly to office staff, estimators, technicians, and management
- Track leads, follow-ups, and sales activity
- Maintain accurate notes on prospects, referrals, and customer interactions
Business Development
- Develop relationships with builders, remodelers, real estate agents, insurance professionals, property managers, and commercial accounts
- Look for new opportunities to expand the company’s customer base
- Help identify underserved areas, competitors, and potential marketing opportunities
- Bring feedback from customers and the market back to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, construction, home services, or garage doors preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable making calls, visiting businesses, and introducing the company to new contacts
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Organized and able to track leads and follow-ups
- Basic knowledge of social media, email, and customer management tools is helpful
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling home improvement, construction, garage door, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or other trade services
- Ability to build relationships with contractors, builders, and property managers
- Comfortable taking project photos and gathering customer testimonials
- Basic understanding of residential and commercial construction sales
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
Compensation
- $65,000-$125,000
- Performance bonuses
- Mileage or travel reimbursement
- Incentives for new accounts, booked jobs, or closed sales
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
