Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential and/or commercial customers. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- Install HVAC equipment and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Test system performance and ensure proper operation after service completion.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer documentation.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, maintenance recommendations, and system operation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service calls as needed.
Experience
- Proven field service experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong mechanical background.
- Hands-on experience working with construction projects involving HVAC installation or repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, refrigeration technology—including ammonia refrigeration—and appliance repair is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and experience working with various mechanical systems such as boilers and pumps.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
- Prior experience using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters or performing welding tasks related to equipment repair enhances your candidacy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of HVAC service and repair experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions, attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
Preferred
- EPA Section 608 Certification.
- NATE Certification or equivalent HVAC certification.
- Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Pay: $39.44 - $50.46 per hour
