About the Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the uptime and safety of complex power systems in a heavy industrial environment. You will leverage your expertise in troubleshooting and system optimization to ensure that our infrastructure operates at peak efficiency, directly impacting the productivity of our facility.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive electrical maintenance and repairs on motors, generators, breakers, and sophisticated control systems to minimize downtime.

Perform rigorous diagnostic testing using advanced meters and tools to ensure the integrity of power distribution networks.

Drive the reliability of drive systems and electrical components through proactive preventive maintenance and rapid response troubleshooting.

Lead the installation of new electrical hardware during facility upgrades and infrastructure expansion projects.

Collaborate with mechanical teams to prepare equipment for service, ensuring strict adherence to lockout/tagout and safety protocols.

Maintain a high standard of operational safety by conducting frequent site inspections and mitigating potential hazards.

Operate mobile plant equipment safely while following established task-specific training and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications-
3–5 years of hands-on experience in heavy industrial or mining electrical maintenance.

Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC starters, variable speed drives, and complex power distribution.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform arc welding and operate cutting torches.

High school diploma or equivalent, supported by a proven track record of reliability and safety.

Formal technical or vocational training in electrical systems.

Experience with megger testing and high-voltage diagnostic equipment.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
