Position Summary
Responsible for guiding and assisting with quality management efforts to ensure continuous improvement and organizational excellence, adherence with all regulatory, compliance, accreditation, and legal issues, and promote a safe environment for all employees, patients and visitors. Formulates study specifications to produce desired information for and in compliance with the accreditation requirements. Works independently and deals with sensitive confidential and regulatory information daily. The Quality Assurance Coordinator actively coordinates the organization’s Hospital-Wide Performance Improvement Program, completes clinical audits for compliance, assists the Chief Operations Officer with development, communication, implementation and tracking of action plans necessary to close identified gaps in care or compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, COLA/CLIA, CARF and HIPAA standards and regulations. Coordinates review choice demonstration program and assists in outcomes via IRF PAI and RCD compliance.
