Building Services Specialist
About the Role
As a Building Services Specialist at Bank of Springfield, you will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. This hands-on position supports multiple locations and is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in general building maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, and painting tasks.

Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Maintain records for BOS equipment, including vehicles, using basic computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word).

Evaluate repair needs and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure quality service delivery.

Purchase parts and supplies as directed and maintain inventory of tools and materials.

Perform grounds maintenance based on seasonal needs not covered by vendors.

Assist with environmental and facility-related tasks such as moving furniture, deliveries, and unloading materials.

Respond to maintenance emergencies and travel to all BOS branch locations as needed.

Model BOS values and act with integrity in all interactions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience (including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and snow removal).

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations within the past five years).

Ability to pass background and security checks.

Ability to operate machinery and lift 50+ pounds.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
