Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Line Technician / Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their behavioral and developmental goals within a supportive and professional environment.
Duties
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and skill development.
- Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress and behavior management strategies.
- Implement individualized care plans developed by supervising clinicians or behavior analysts.
- Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, medical records management, and behavior management techniques.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must apply for Registration as a Registered Line Technician with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) recommended
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education strategies.
- Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and progress tracking.
- Experience assisting with ADLs and providing patient care in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals requiring behavioral support and patience in challenging situations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and client information.
