We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Armed Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your role is vital in deterring threats, managing security incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff alike. Duties
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and physical patrols to monitor premises continuously.
- Manage access control systems to authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform regular patrols of the facility’s perimeter and interior to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies by implementing established protocols, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or conflict situations.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activities, security breaches, or accidents for future reference and investigations.
- Operate firearms and non-lethal weapons such as Tasers responsibly in accordance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Execute background checks on new employees or visitors when required, ensuring compliance with security regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance techniques and physical security measures.
- Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and emergency response skills.
- Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and emergency response procedures.
- Skilled in conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and effective communication under pressure.
- Proficient in operating access control systems and performing manual handling tasks including heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of firearm handling, Taser use, and adherence to security regulations ensures safe and compliant operations.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with visitors while maintaining security protocols.
