Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Establish positive and collaborative relationships with parents, caregivers, and other staff members, promoting open communication and involvement in the child's learning journey
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Follow all licensing regulations and ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in early childhood education
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and create a supportive learning environment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
