Unarmed Security Officer- ISOC Supervisor
Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day oversight of operations within the GSOC which services, monitors, triages, and coordinates external threat monitoring & incident response supporting SAP’s global footprint. They will use operational best practices to ensure the physical safety and security of our people, buildings, and assets across shifts providing 24/7/365 coverage.
The ISOC Supervisor oversees the delivery of the ISOC’s suite of services and drives compliance to standards & procedures governing OSINT monitoring, external threat analysis, incident response, travel security, event security, & mass communications. They will engage with people across the business who require security related support and follow up with inquiries where necessary.
The ideal candidate has prior experience of working in or supervising a similar international control room or ISOC. It is essential that they have an ability to maintain good relationships, a good team ethic and a desire to exceed expectations. The ISOC Supervisor is expected to operate with limited supervision and have familiarity with many of the OSINT techniques & technical principles associated with a modern ISOC. A curious and inquisitive outlook is essential, and they must have an innate desire for continuous self-development.
Job Description:

Coordinate the delivery of the ISOC’s suite of services across multiple shifts providing 24/7/365 coverage.

Oversee the delivery of credible, timely, and actionable threat intelligence information to security and business decision makers.

Oversee the delivery of threat intelligence supporting events, corporate travel, and personal protection assignments, including executive protection.

Guide a team of ISOC Analysts using a metrics-based approach to improve performance and efficiency (SLA/KPI).

Evaluate and monitor the performance of ISOC team members and deliver training and coaching for new and existing personnel.

Provide direction to analyst staff and drive compliance to standards & procedures.

Ability to work a variable schedule as needed to coordinate & deliver training, operational updates, etc. across multiple shifts.

Compile Management Information (MI) and reports to share with GPS management on a weekly basis.

Identify and promptly respond to any outages or anomalies in ISOC monitoring tools and other technologies.

Develop a deep understanding of ISOC procedures and GPS internal structure to be able to, under minimal supervision, determine the appropriate response to each reported incident.

Ability to perform all subordinate tasks & responsibilities of the ISOC.
Competencies and Skills:

Associate degree or 2+ years’ equivalent work experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, Corporate Security Operations Center.

Supervisory experience, preferably in a security role.

High proficiency in using IT applications and evidence of data entry and retrieval, keyboard skills, to a speed of at least 25wpm with at least 75% accuracy.

A fundamental understanding of OSINT monitoring & the intelligence cycle.

Proficiency with enterprise level OSINT monitoring and threat aggregator programs

Experience in basic security analysis, problem solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment and triaging reports.

Possess exceptional communication and customer service skills with an ability to adopt the appropriate approach when dealing with others who may be anxious or distressed.

Basic knowledge of some technical elements associated with security systems
