Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our Molly’s Dog Care pack. The ideal candidate is skilled, patient, and passionate about ensuring every dog looks and feels their best.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning for all breeds and sizes
- Deliver breed-specific cuts and customized grooming services based on client requests
- Maintain a calm, safe, and positive experience for dogs throughout the grooming process
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about grooming needs, skin/coat conditions, and aftercare
- Ensure grooming area is clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
- Collaborate with daycare and front desk teams for smooth client experiences
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience OR recent grooming school graduate with hands-on training
- Knowledge of breed-specific styles, skin/coat health, and safe grooming practices
- Ability to confidently handle dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented approach
