Job Overview
We are seeking a Florida Licensed Adolescent Therapist (LCSW, LMHC) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing compassionate mental health counseling and behavioral support to adolescents aged 11 to 17. This role involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy, conducting assessments, and implementing evidence-based interventions within a structured residential setting. The licensed therapist will play a critical role in supporting residents' emotional well-being and facilitating their successful transition back into the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for residents.
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
- Collect and document clinical data accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with case managers, educators, and medical staff to coordinate care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Facilitate skill-building activities focused on social work principles, conflict management, and behavior management strategies.
- Support residents’ progress through ongoing patient care assessments, progress notes, and treatment modifications as necessary.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent license in good standing.
- Proven experience working with adolescents in residential or community mental health settings.
- Ability to manage complex cases involving trauma ot PTSD care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Pay: From $63,500.00 per year
