American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 4x10 day-shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and a Washington state license in hand.

CT Tech position within a hospital radiology/cardiology department
-
Supports adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients
-
Level II Trauma Center setting
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Performs CT of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, head and neck, and vascular CTA studies
-
Special procedures include brain perfusion and vascular CTA imaging
-
Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
Requires availability for either Saturday or Sunday shifts

Some on-call responsibilities required
-
May be required to float between sister facilities within the state
-
Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
-
ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
-
BLS certification required
-
Washington state license required if applicable
-
Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Level II Trauma Center experience preferred

Experience starting peripheral IVs and preparing/administering contrast media preferred
-
Knowledge of radiation safety practices required
-
Epic charting experience preferred
-
Responsibilities include performing a range of CT imaging studies including contrast and non-contrast exams across multiple body regions

Candidates must be comfortable working with adult and pediatric patient populations
-
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
-
Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the region
-
Former employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
-
Local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate
-
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rates
-
Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
-
Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
