A leading retail company, WCS Healthcare Partners, based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join its legal and business operations team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, supporting business growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
The individual will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, and retail partnerships. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, finance, and sales, to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and mitigate risk. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Maintaining contract templates
- Implementing and improving contract management processes
- Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping within contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
- Providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract best practices and company policies
- Bachelor's degree required; JD or paralegal background preferred
- Minimum 5 years of contract management experience, ideally within retail or consumer goods
- Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements
- Familiarity with contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Agiloft, or similar)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
