Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage laundry services efficiently, ensuring linens are properly washed, dried, folded, and stored.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to proper cleaning detergents and chemical handling protocols.
- Maintain outdoor areas as needed, including outdoor cleaning tasks that support overall property upkeep.
- Implement janitorial standards for cleanliness and sanitation to promote a healthy living environment.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies in accordance with manual handling safety guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with residents and staff to address specific cleaning needs or requests promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, cleaning detergents, and proper use of safety gear.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance.
- Excellent customer service skills with a respectful approach toward residents and team members.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas of the property.
