About the role
Cooper Roofing is hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to own our day-to-day finances. Our longtime bookkeeper is retiring, and we're looking for someone to step in and run the books with the same care. You'll work on-site at our Croydon office, reporting directly to the owner.
This is the right fit if you like being the person who keeps everything accurate, paid on time, and organized — and who can tell us which jobs are actually making money.
What you'll do
- Manage the full set of books: AP, AR, general ledger, and monthly close
- Pay vendors and subcontractors, and stay on top of collections
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Track job costs so we know the profitability of each project
- Run payroll and keep filings on schedule
- Produce clean monthly financials for the owner
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Construction or trades experience a strong plus (especially job costing)
- Accurate, organized, and able to work independently
- Comfortable being the only finance person in the building

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
