Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a law firm in seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join their team on a long-term, indefinite engagement. This role is remote, although being based in Los Angeles is preferred.
Role Details:

- Duration: Long-term, indefinite
- Location: remote, although Los Angeles based candidates are preferred
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Pay Rate: Starting at $95/hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and demand letters
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review and discovery responses
- Prepare for and take/defend depositions
- Work with expert witnesses and assist with trial preparation
- Collaborate with litigation teams on case strategy and execution
Qualifications:
- Active California bar license, in good standing
- 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling either antitrust litigation or insurance defense litigation matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with iManage, Litify, Epoch time management, and insurance defense billing narratives is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
