Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza ingredients such as sauces, cheeses, vegetables, and meats according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Assist in dough stretching & pizza building with portioning ingredients accurately for consistent product quality
- Support cooking and assembly processes during peak hours to ensure timely service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely meal preparation
- Follow menu planning directives to prepare ingredients aligned with menu items and specials
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environments preferred but not, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings. Will train the right person!
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking methods preferred but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of kitchen operations, including food industry best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
