About the Role
As an Orthodontic Assistant at TT Orthodontics, you’ll work chairside with our orthodontist to deliver 5-star clinical care during every appointment. You’ll be an essential part of keeping the day running smoothly while ensuring every patient leaves feeling informed, comfortable, and excited about their smile journey.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting chairside during orthodontic procedures, prepping instruments, materials, and operatories
- Taking impressions and utilizing 3D intraoral scanners for digital records
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions
- Taking X-rays and performing imaging following proper safety protocols
- Maintaining a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment at all times
- Managing patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborating with the front desk team to support patient flow and scheduling
- Supporting sterilization protocols and upholding infection control standards
- Being a positive, energetic presence for patients and teammates every day
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with EMR/practice management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures is helpful
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is an asset
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a clean, safe clinical space
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and someone who takes pride in their work
- Genuine passion for patient care and making people feel at ease
- Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month
