Job Summary
Private member only golf club is seeking a Food Expeditor to join our culinary team! In this fast-paced role, you will act as a vital communication link between the kitchen staff and front-of-house service team, ensuring that food orders are prepared, plated, and delivered to guests efficiently and accurately. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience that delights our members and supports our culinary excellence. Responsibilities
- Coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Verify accuracy of orders before they leave the kitchen, checking for proper presentation and completeness
- Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, and hosts to prioritize dishes and manage timing effectively
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to uphold food safety standards
- Support the team by cleaning work areas, and assisting with general restaurant duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly customer service attitude
- Ability to work quickly under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is beneficial
