Join our dedicated team at Daycation for Seniors Fair Oaks Day Program as a Lead Caregiver/Activity Aided, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to seniors living with Alzheimer's/Dementia. In this dynamic leadership position, you will oversee daily caregiving and social activities, support team members, and ensure that each participant receives personalized attention in a safe and engaging environment. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive experience here at our social activity day center.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor caregiving staff to deliver exceptional care, implement games and activities and uphold care standards.
- Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, mobility, and medication administration.
- Implement games, activities, arts & crafts and socializing events for particpants.
- Support participants with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders through tailored activities of our Day Program.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to patient monitoring, medication records, and incident reports in compliance with Title 22 regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments.
- Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certifications in CPR and first aid are required; additional credentials in nursing or social work are preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
