Job description
We are seeking a registered mental health counselor intern in the state of Florida to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, a proven ability to manage high-stress situations, and the capacity to work effectively with diverse individuals. The therapist should be able to conduct effective psychotherapy with adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing an initial diagnosis.
- Formulating treatment and plan of action.
- Creating a treatment plan for individuals, couples, families, or groups in marriage and family therapy, individual counseling, and clinical consultation.
- Providing counseling for various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and others.
- Making referrals for additional medical care when necessary.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree.
- Must be registered with the state as a Mental Health Counselor Intern
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
