The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to achieving positive client outcomes.
- Manage and handle assigned legal matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners and support staff on case strategy and execution.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all deadlines.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the NYS Bar.
- 1-5 years of relevant legal experience preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
