General Manager – HOTWORX Studio
HOTWORX is the first-ever implementation of 3-dimensional fitness training—combining heat, infrared energy, and exercise—to help members flush toxins, tone up, and torch calories. Our studio provides 24-hour access to unlimited class sessions including Hot Yoga, Hot Cycle, Hot Buns, and more.
We are looking for a results-driven General Manager who is passionate about developing people, growing a business, and creating a culture of accountability. This is not an administrative management role—this is a leadership position responsible for building a high-performing team that consistently delivers sales growth, exceptional member experiences, and operational excellence.
The General Manager sets the standard, owns the studio's performance, coaches the team daily, and ensures every team member understands their role in achieving studio goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Studio Growth
- Own membership growth, retention, retail sales, and overall studio performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities, and take immediate action to improve results.
- Lead by example by actively selling memberships, generating leads, and converting prospects.
Lead an Accountable Team
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales-focused team.
- Set clear expectations and hold every team member accountable to daily activity standards, sales goals, and member service expectations.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and team meetings focused on continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture where ownership, urgency, positivity, and accountability are the standard—not the exception.
Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience
- Ensure every guest and member receives a consistent, high-quality experience from first interaction through long-term membership.
- Build strong relationships that drive referrals, retention, and community engagement.
- Resolve member concerns professionally while protecting the integrity of the HOTWORX brand.
Execute Operational Excellence
- Ensure the studio operates efficiently through effective scheduling, staffing, inventory management, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards.
- Use reporting and performance data to make informed business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Build Community Presence
- Develop partnerships, networking opportunities, and community events that generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Represent HOTWORX professionally within the local market while creating excitement around the studio.
Partner with Ownership
- Communicate consistently with ownership regarding studio performance, team development, opportunities, and challenges.
- Take ownership of studio results by presenting solutions, implementing action plans, and driving measurable improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading sales teams and consistently achieving or exceeding performance goals.
- Strong leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
- Highly organized with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using performance metrics and KPIs to drive decisions and improve results.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or membership-based businesses is preferred.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
