Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to facilitate a smooth dining experience.
- Support food preparation by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Help with additional tasks as assigned by the kitchen management team.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep the kitchen area clean and orderly.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks, including cooking and banquet preparation when needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
