Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments.
- Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos.
- Stock food service necessities, and maintain an attractive store environment.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating store operations.
- Run food from expo window to customers tables.
- Maintain dining room sanitation (Bus tables, wipe surfaces, sweep, etc.)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant work or cashiering is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations required.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is highly desirable.
- Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is advantageous for leadership opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Pay: Part-Time wages can vary between a minimum of $15.00hr up to an estimated $35.00hr. At the cashier position, you will share a pool of tips collected each day that is divided by the hour amongst the scheduled cashiers. This can boost the wage up to an estimated $35.00hr.
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
