Power Chevrolet GMC in Corvallis is looking to add a service advisor to our team that will provide exceptional customer service to our very loyal guests.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to
- Prepare and process Repair Orders accurately, including all costs, deductibles, and descriptions of symptoms, etc.
- Ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide quality customer service, consistently achieving excellent CSI scores.
- Serve as communicator between customer and technician. Ensure complete understanding in regards to the services rendered.
- Continue to keep customer informed with necessary information based on service
- Accurately verify warranty and service contracts.
- Is responsible for addressing customer concerns about their vehicles and advising on the best course of action.
- Effectively work with technicians who perform all automotive mechanical services.
Work Environment and Pay
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who can delegate work, manage technicians, meet and greet customers, and handle customer requirements pertaining to repair and/or servicing of their vehicle issues. The Service Advisor is a key player in the facility for fostering positive customer relations through communication and follow-up to customers on repair status and charges for repairs and to promote service sales through communication of information to customers on maintenance and repair needs that are identified during the service and maintenance inspection.
Administrative duties include preparing inventory for sale, communicating with third-party vendors, greeting customers in a professional manner, cashier/receipting duties, ordering parts/supplies, applying invoices in the computer system and answering the phone to schedule appointments.
Job Requirements

- Requires detailed knowledge of car mechanics
- Complete quality/safety checks and documentation of all completed work before delivery to client.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, that includes background checks, dreg-test, and valid driver’s license.
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience
- Assist with the management of automotive technicians, shop attendants, and their training.
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, etc.
- Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing and all are processed correctly.
- Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to company's guidelines.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
