We’re an expanding Jersey Shore restaurant & brewery looking for a dependable, hands-on Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position supports daily prep, line execution, food quality, and smooth service from setup through the final plate.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, dressings, and menu items according to recipes and prep lists
- Work the line during service while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency
- Follow plating standards and portion guidelines
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Assist with receiving deliveries and proper food storage, labeling, and rotation
- Keep workstations organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Communicate clearly with kitchen team members, FOH, and management to keep service running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, especially in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to work both prep and line positions as needed
- Strong understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to stay calm and focused during busy service
- ServSafe certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Weekend availability is required
