The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in the United States is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated person for the role of PA to the Ambassador under locally employed staff terms and conditions.
Requirements
· Fluent in English written and oral.
· Greek language will be considered an advantage.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Possession of appropriate work U.S. authorization (green card or citizenship)
· Integrity, discretion, strong attention to detail, ability to take responsibility and initiative.
· Ability to handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion.
· Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
· University diploma associated with the position’s requirements will be considered an advantage.
· Previous working experience in the field will be considered an advantage, or 2+ year experience as an Executive Assistant will be a plus Job Description
· Acting as personal assistant and secretary to the Ambassador, including managing correspondence and schedule.
· Providing secretarial support
· Organizing travel arrangements and meetings
· Accreditation and Protocol
· Other office duties as assigned.
Salary
Salary is determined in accordance with the General Schedule (GS) Classification and Pay System of the US Office of Personnel Management (Salary Table 2025-DCB).
The successful candidate will be placed on Grade 6 Step 5, with a gross annual salary of $58,300. Additionally a 13rd salary will be provided.
