About the Role
Are you a highly organized administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dynamic Construction Coordinator (CC) to join our home building team. The Construction Coordinator is a vital player in our daily operations, serving as the central hub of communication between our office, sales team, customers, and field operations. This is a diverse role combining administrative mastery, cross-departmental collaboration, and production support. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Office Administration: Manage day-to-day clerical operations, organize paperwork, streamline procedures, and maintain accurate digital and physical files.
- Communication & Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact connecting settlements, AR/AP, estimating, sales, trade partners, and suppliers with our Project Managers.
- Field & Production Support: Assist in assembling and tracking job start packages prior to construction and support Project Managers with scheduling and phone calls.
- HR & Onboarding Logistics: Coordinate team expense reports, mileage logs, and vacation tracking. Assist in onboarding and training new employees on office systems and policies.
- Operations & Safety Compliance: Maintain office equipment logs, order supplies, manage workspace presentation (office and model areas), and maintain OSHA, SDS, and safety compliance records.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: 1+ years of administrative assistance, office coordination, or clerical experience (experience in construction, real estate, or home building is a strong plus).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with office phone systems, file management, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace).
- Adaptability: A proactive problem-solver who can train others and assist with regional office setup when needed.
