Area Supervisor – Evening Operations | Metro Milwaukee Area
Pioneer Commercial Cleaning is seeking a dependable, hands-on Area Supervisor to oversee janitorial and housekeeping operations across multiple client locations throughout the Metro Milwaukee area.
This position is ideal for an experienced leader who enjoys working independently, developing employees, maintaining high standards, and solving operational challenges. The Area Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, high-quality service while supporting and developing our cleaning teams.
Compensation & Benefits
$19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Most Area Supervisors work approximately 45–50 hours weekly
- Typical annual earnings range from approximately $47,000–$65,000, including regular overtime

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Typically 45–50 hours per week
- Start time between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM
- Weekend availability by phone for emergency coverage coordination when needed
What You'll Do
As an Area Supervisor, you'll oversee multiple client locations and serve as the primary point of contact for quality control, training, and operational support.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting janitorial staff across multiple facilities
- Conducting routine inspections and quality audits
- Training new employees and coaching existing staff
- Ensuring company and client standards are consistently met
- Managing staffing schedules and coordinating coverage
- Assisting with disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and employee development
- Maintaining accurate attendance, timekeeping, and operational records
- Enforcing safety procedures and company policies
- Responding to client concerns and resolving operational issues
- Assisting with cleaning projects and providing hands-on support when necessary
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, facilities maintenance, or related service industries strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills, including email and scheduling systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required
- Clean driving record and ability to qualify under the Company's vehicle insurance requirements
- Ability and willingness to drive a company vehicle between assigned locations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to inspect facilities and operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to travel frequently between assigned locations
Work Environment
Work is performed in medical, commercial, industrial, and office environments throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Frequent travel between sites is required. Employees may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, equipment noise, and varying environmental conditions depending on the location.
