Roosevelt University, College of Science, Health and Pharmacy, Schaumburg, IL, is seeking applications for a part-time Medical Director of the Physician Assistant [PA] Studies program to begin June 9th, 2026. Roosevelt has recently applied for provisional accreditation with the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. [ARC-PA] with a planned program start date in August 2028.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Medical Director serves as a key member of the principal faculty, providing expertise in clinical medicine to the program. The Medical Director will assist the Program Director in ensuring that the curriculum, clinical training, and student assessment methods meet all ARC-PA accreditation standards, specifically those relating to entry-level competence.
The Medical Director will also provide advice and oversight regarding the medical accuracy of the curriculum and the quality of clinical experiences available to students and serve as an advocate for the program within the medical and academic communities.
The salary range for this position is $30,000-$40,000
