Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring optimal patient flow
- Collect and document vital signs, medical histories accurately
- Assist chiropractors with patient intake, preparation, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain organized patient records, including ICD coding and documentation of treatments
- Support clinical staff with basic procedures as needed
- Manage phone calls, answer inquiries professionally, and coordinate follow-up appointments or referrals
- Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in medical administrative support or front desk coordination in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding highly desirable
- Familiarity with EHR systems and appointment scheduling software is essential
- Strong patient service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of patient care experience is beneficial but not required
