DUTIES:
The duties for this position include:
- Packing, wrapping and loading materials into boxes for shipment; wrapping and protecting materials to protect the finish.
- Performing quality checks on all items before packing to ensure that our customers receive their orders in good shape. Notifying a supervisor when quality issues are found.
- Keeping an accurate count of items packed, wrapped and boxed; printing shipping labels; and wrapping pallets with shrink wrap.
- Working as part of a fast-moving team.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for this position, you:
- Must have, at least, 1-year prior shipping & receiving experience, required. Prior experience packing orders and printing shipping labels preferred. Forklift experience not required, but it is a big plus.
- Must be able to work Monday through Thursday each week from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and some Fridays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Must be comfortable cross-training; working in different departments; performing different tasks in the production area depending on our production needs.
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, including: standing, walking, bending, twisting and frequently lifting between 30 lbs and 50 lbs throughout your shift; and you must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
