A growing construction firm is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a diverse portfolio of projects, including educational, industrial, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. This role leads preconstruction efforts by developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project scope, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
- Define, evaluate, and quantify project scope, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets during preconstruction and bidding phases
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure complete project coverage
- Prepare takeoffs, bid packages, and detailed cost breakdowns for proposals and client submissions
- Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure constructability, accuracy, and alignment with project goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience on commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or estimating software preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Salary up to $120,000
