Customer Service Representative
Salt River Electric is seeking to hire an energetic and professional individual for the classification of Customer Service Representative (CSR). As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary contact point for Salt River members, providing them with prompt and efficient service. Daily duties of a CSR include:
· Accurately processing and accepting member payments
· Assisting members with account questions
· Maintaining and balancing a cash drawer
· Handling service connections, transfers and disconnections
· Maintaining accurate member account information and records
CSRs are also expected to explain billing information and cooperative programs to members, work in collaboration with other departments to resolve members needs and service requests, as well as support and communicate information to members during outages and other emergency situations.
All candidates must have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and must be able to multi-task and work well with fellow employees in a very busy work environment. A knowledge of office equipment and experience in an office environment is preferred but not required.
This is a Monday through Friday positions, 8am to 5pm. Overtime may be required during major events, with assistance expected during major outages. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), deferred pension plan, with 11 paid holidays throughout the year.
