This job opportunity is working with the Naval Shipyard providing transportation to their construction workers.
Job Summary
The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate modern motorcoaches and buses
- Deliver outstanding customer service—be the face of our commitment to safety, reliability, and environmental responsibility
- Work alongside a supportive, professional team that values your expertise and dedication
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements
- Ability to pass a DOT medical exam
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of luggage
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Possess and maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) – minimum of class B with air brakes and passenger endorsement.
- Possess and maintain a DOT physical.
- Subject to FMCSA Dug & Alcohol testing, including a random testing program.
- Legibly complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Knowledge and use of defensive driving techniques.
- Knowledge and practical use of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations pertaining to the driving of a commercial vehicle.
- Treat all passengers, company personnel, and others associated with your work assignment in a courteous and professional manner.
- Work with company personnel as members of a TEAM, this requires the driver to coordinate activities with others and to function as a unit.
- The ability to speak foreign languages is helpful.
