Home Health Aide / CNA -
Due to insurance policies, applicant MUST have HHA or CNA certification. Homemaker certificate or PCA is not sufficient.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking compassionate CNAs and Home Health Aides to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals within their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and ensuring their well-being in a home care setting. We currently have per diem day shifts available between the hours of 8a-1p M-F in Springfield, West Springfield, and Agawam, with more shifts becoming open regularly. Most shifts are 2 hours in length each.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Help clients with mobility issues by providing assistance with walking, transferring, and positioning.
- Document client progress and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cooking and meal preparation.
- Familiarity with assisted living and home care practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized living space.
- Compassionate attitude towards providing care for others.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Previous experience in home community care is advantageous.

License/Certification:

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
