Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety
- Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend personalized wellness strategies
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress in compliance with medical and spa standards
- Collaborate with other health professionals to support comprehensive pain management and occupational health initiatives
- Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere at all times
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing
- Proven experience in medical spa settings or similar environments preferred, especially with occupational health or pain management focus
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Skilled in patient service, assessment, and delivering customized treatment plans based on individual needs
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
