Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA

Responsibilities
- Configure, test, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise telecom solutions and services
- Monitor system performance and call quality, leading efforts to resolve performance issues
- Integrate third-party applications with Teams Phone, Five9, and other County voice services
- Assess impacts and risks of scheduled and unplanned service updates and alerts
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for large technical initiatives
- Provide Tier 3 response and support for complex service impacting incidents and problems
- Work closely with internal staff (security, network, AD) and managed service providers for solution implementation and issue resolution
- Recommend, evaluate, develop, and implement new products to enhance service offerings
- Lead the implementation of changes to existing solutions
- Review and approve technical changes submitted through the formal change management process
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years of telecommunications and networking experience with PSTN, VoIP, call centers, IVR, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, SBCs, QoS, cloud
- Direct experience with Cisco Call Manager and Teams Phone
- Preference for experience with Five9 or similar CCaaS product
- Experience working in federal, state, or local government environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
