Duties:

Oversee the daily operations of the dairy department, including managing inventory, ordering products, and ensuring proper stock levels.

Ensure that all dairy products are properly displayed and rotated to maintain freshness.

Train and supervise dairy department staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to food safety and sanitation.

Monitor sales trends and adjust product offerings to meet customer demand.

Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee schedules.

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Requirements:

Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery or dairy department.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff members who may speak different languages (multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus).

Proficiency in retail math, including budgeting, pricing, and profit margins.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team of employees.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
