Job Title: Behavior Therapist (BT)/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Lake Effect ABA is fast-growing practice looking for dedicated Behavior Therapists (BTs) / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism.
Schedule: 3 2-hour sessions per week in the morning (summer) switching to 3 sessions per week from 4-6PM once school begins.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their homes, following individualized treatment plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Accurately collect data using an electronic data collection system and document session notes.
- Follow behavior support plans (BSPs) reduce challenging behaviors.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and BCBA supervisors to support the child’s progress.
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What You Need to Join Our Team:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s may be required in certain locations due to our insurance contracts).
- Passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the designated service area.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all state requirements for working with children.
- Must be able to kneel, bend, sit on the floor, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed during sessions.
