Green Up Landscape & Garden Center is a premier design/build company servicing Livingston and Oakland counties. We are currently hiring for the position of Mechanic.
Applicants should present the following skills:
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks,trailers,& landscape related equipment (ie.tractors, skid steers, & lawn mowers).
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all trucks and equipment including, inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair & P.M performed on each truck or piece of equipment.
- Must have ability to diagnose & repair a variety of small engines & hand held/ compact equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory & cleanliness in shop.
- Must be able to diagnose a variety of electrical issues, including trailers, trucks & equipment
Must also have:
-Valid Michigan Chauffeurs license
- Good driving/ safety record
- knowledge and training on all equipment required to perform duties in a safe manner

Experience:
- Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (Preferred)
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred)
