Bonsall Farms is seeking an experienced cook or chef to execute our reservation-only, outdoor prix fixe dinner service for the remainder of our season (approximately 2 months).
What You'll Do
- Execute established 3- and 5-course prix fixe menus
- Cook, finish and plate dishes quickly and consistently
- Manage the timing and flow of courses
- Coordinate with a small waitstaff
- Maintain excellent food quality and presentation
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized and food-safe
- Adapt quickly and confidently when circumstances change during service

What We're Looking For
- Strong cooking and kitchen skills
- Prior professional kitchen experience strongly preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent sense of timing and organization
- Comfortable thinking on your feet and adapting quickly
- Reliable, efficient and calm under pressure
- Comfortable executing established recipes and presentation standards
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restaurant, catering or banquet cook looking for well-paid weekend work in a small, unique setting without taking on another full-time restaurant schedule.
Pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience
