We are partnering with a Central Ohio organization to hire a
Senior Accounting Manager with
Affordable Housing / LIHTC experience to support a growing real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys overseeing complex property accounting, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements within a mission-driven environment.
- Oversee accounting for a portfolio of LIHTC and affordable housing properties
- Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, GAAP, and investor reporting requirements
- Partner with asset management, development, and property management teams
- Lead audit and tax support processes, including partnership accounting
- Mentor staff and help improve accounting processes and workflows
- Strong accounting background with LIHTC / affordable housing experience
- Experience with partnership accounting and real estate structures
- CPA preferred (or on track)
- Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting systems preferred
- Detail-oriented with leadership experience and ability to manage deadlines
- Salary range of $100,000–$120,000
