Position Summary
- Oversee day-to-day operation of adult residential facility.
Responsibilities
- Schedule staff hours to meet supervision requirements, including obtaining substitutes or act as substitute for direct service staff.
- Being available for emergency calls for 24 hour period during shift or arrange coverage.
- Ensure implementation of client Individual Service Plans
- Arrange transportation for resident individual appointments and outings
- Oversee and implement residents’ activity schedule
- Manage resident funds
- Arrangement for the residents being served to attend available community programs, when the individuals have needs, identified in the needs and services plan, which cannot be met by the facility but can be met by community programs
- Arrangement for special provisions for the care and supervision and safety and guidance of residents with disabilities including visual or auditory deficiencies
- Participate in meetings involving staff, residents, and other significant persons
- Review and summarize data for reports; complete residential reports
Qualifications
- Must have a current ARF Administrator Certificate
- At least 21 years old with GED/high school diploma (college preferred)
- Knowledgeable of Title 17 & 22, developmental disabilities, and care regulations
- CPR/First Aid certified, with ongoing HIV/TB training every 2 years
- DSP I & II
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and criminal clearance
- PART, CPI, or MAP certified
- Physical/TB Test within the Year
Pay: $70,304.00 per year
